The Species Survival Fund partly funds the initiative (https://www.heritagefund.org.uk/funding/closed-programmes/species-survival-fund) and focuses on East Durham's 'coal coast' including former mining areas.
Meet on Campus (Claremont Road Parking lot across from the Stevenson Building next to the pay and park machines) at 9am.
Please note it will be muddy, so dress accordingly.
