SASE Foundation: Contributing to the United Nations #GenerationRestoration Project

kelliedaniels6

As part of the United Nations' attempt to tackle climate change, restore ecosystems, save species from extinction, and save our future, SASE members have become official' Actors' to contribute to the global restoration movement.

We are dedicated to becoming key players in this movement as we align our forces with the United Nations and its ambitious goal of achieving the Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

Our Role

We are not just supporting the UN, but actively shaping and contributing. We are actively developing restoration programs and supporting restoration activities on the ground. For example, assisting in recovering ecosystems that have been degraded or destroyed, as well as conserving the ecosystems that are still intact.

SASE understands that true restoration is about empowering people to contribute to a community and understand the importance of restoration. As we align with the UN's Decade on Ecosystem Restoration, we can share knowledge and advocate towards the movement within our global student against species extinction community.

Recognition

We are proud to have been formally recognised on the United Nations' website for our efforts and contribution towards this movement. SASE are hosting a lecture on Coastal Restoration from visiting American Professor Nicole Boudreaux, Nicholls State University and will focus on the global conversation around coastal restoration and feature a presentation from official ‘Actors’ of the United Nations Generation Restoration Project.

Join the Movement

Everyone has a part to play in the collective effort to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals. From small entities, businesses, individuals and more, we can all get involved to achieve the shared goal. Whether through advocacy, corporate partnerships, or direct involvement in restoration projects, supporting organisations like the SASE Foundation is a powerful step toward a sustainable future. It is not just aspirational but an achievable reality.
